Couple looking for comfort
The restaurant had a fantastic beef pie that just melted in your mouth. Not to forget the excellent customer service we got from the staff, they really made us feel welcome and were attentive without being intrusive.
It wasn't exactly cheap but considering the experience, it was acceptable.

Only one bath towel provided!!! Early check-in lacks a guarantee, which could deter wedding guests from staying!!!

Charming, Charming, Charming
I absolutely adored this cozy haven! The food was delicious, especially the melt-in-your-mouth beef pie that I just can't stop raving about. And let’s not forget the garden area—a perfect spot to unwind with board games after a hearty meal!

The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable stay. Electric vehicle charging was a convenient feature, and the food was both tasty and good value. the steep staircase to the bedrooms may pose challenges for some guests, and the absence of bath towels in the bathroom was an inconvenience. On a busy evening, the duty manager seemed preoccupied with a quiz night, which affected the overall service experience.

Couldn't recommend more for a mini-break over the weekend.
Comfortable room, pleasant atmosphere, with a flat-screen TV and electric kettle that made our stay enjoyable as we were able to relax with a cup of tea after a long day exploring. The on-site car park was a convenient bonus allowing us easy access to the hotel.
Hard to think of anything without adding further information.

The room was cozy, with charming decor and really comfy furnishings that made me feel at home. I loved the quirky touches around, but there were a couple of annoying things—missing bathroom towels and the heating control could've been better since it was a bit chilly at night.

Parking was a bit of a hassle as it filled up quickly with pub visitors, making it a challenge to secure a spot. The Wi-Fi situation was less than ideal. it was advertised but didn’t seem to function during my stay. The TV in the room didn’t work properly, and I had to leave before breakfast officially started. the change to 8:30am didn’t sit well with my schedule. The air conditioning turned off late at night, leaving me uncomfortably warm when I needed rest, which affected my energy levels the next day.
